History Of

It all began with the development of Genesis of The Azure Wind...
With a slowly developing fan-base, it was only a matter of time until somebody decides to make a fan-game of Genesis. That somebody was Paul Torillo (a.k.a. Ovan ; likepaulie), who designed a small demo in RPG Maker called "Genesis of The Azure Wind : The Missing Peace". This demo caught the attention of Rihards Demiters (a.k.a. NeoShadow ; NeoSonic12) who, in early summer of 2008, made a new Sonic-RPG demo in RPG Maker XP.

After the release of this new Demo, Neo and Paul decided to work together, to finally work on a real Sonic game in RPG Maker VX, that will be finished and released. They named this new project - Rebirth.

With a project title under their belt, all they needed was a name for the production team. Something simple, easy to remember, and cleverly catchy... Team Rebirth, was what they decided upon.

However, it was a dark cloud over TR, as Paul, decided he was leaving Team Rebirth, to focus on his projects on Procrastinators United... However, all was not lost, as Neo found constant support from The Sonic Family and the Rebirth Beta Testers.

Early 2009 - great news of Paul deciding to rejoin Team Rebirth and the project is still going strong.

And that, my friend, is the history of Team Rebirth.
